Skills/Previous Experience:
VoiceAfter being approached by multiple people throughout my life I seem to have an effortless skill with my voice where I am told quite a lot I have a very soothing calming lovely voice. I'm great at calming situations and people down which I'm sure would suit many acting roles particularly phone roles as I feel a voice has more presence when you cant see who's casting it. I try my best at accents I'm better when I can hear something and try to duplicate it one hundred percent. I sometimes find myself unknowingly practicing lines from movies I've just watched in the house by myself makes me sound like I should be in a straight jacket but I think its just my inner actor bursting out trying to break free like a Xenomorph from alien.
Hobbies

  • I like to keep active by running I'm six foot so this makes goals & targets easier I can go long distance & sprint
  • I play Xbox which helps my co-ordination, problem solving & accomplishing targets under pressure which also helps my reflexes
  • Big film fan so I enjoy going to see movies on the big screen & enjoy the feel of cinema. I also search IMDB all the time so I can get more information and educate myself on the film industry.
  • I also like making short films like holiday videos, Instagram reels matching up audio accurately to fit the video trying to create something the audience will like and I can be proud of looking back

Personal Summary:
I've always been interested in acting from a young age I have a passion for film and tv not so much theatre but I can appreciate it. I first started acting when I was in year nine at high school in 2007 the school was contacted by Byker grove asking for extras to be in televised scenes I put my name forward & participated in the last series of Byker grove. It was a great experience and it led to me achieving a national diploma in performing arts at the end of my last year of high school after studying for three years. I then went onto to do a further two years of acting at Newcastle college where I did singing (i am a baritone)  Dancing & Acting but I only had a real passion for acting. I think I am more suited to comedy roles but I like to think I am diverse and I went onto obtain a national extended diploma in 2012.
I was now eighteen, then like a movie if you imagine a black screen flashing up "Nearly ten years later" I'm trying to get my foot back into the film industry. life took a few twists and turns life was exactly like a box of chocolates after 2010 I've managed to find myself again and don't have the weight of what I had to carry back then. looking to get some extra's work and build my way up & I would like to think my personnel life experience will help me with future roles I didn't have a complete stop from the acting world I had little flashes back into that world. In 2013 I appeared on Ant & Dec's Supercomputer for Saturday night takeaway where me and my friend had to improvise scenarios to entertain the physical audience and the nation. We sadly got the runner up lolly prize but again another excellent experience. I appeared on the news in 2015 where I was working on oil rigs at the time.  And finally in 2016-2019 I took a job at Vue cinema in Cramlington where I still felt I had a connection to the film industry but I moved so I had to leave.
I've asked myself am I now too old to take up acting again then I remember Alan Rickman's career started at 28 years old, as an actor I looked up to & still do. I'm hoping to gain a variety of diverse roles where I can fully explore my talent once again.
